Native American Navajo Rug

This multiple terrace pattern was created by Navajo weaver Jessie Howe from Two Grey Hills, AZ. This is a very soft all natural weaving, a great example of weaving and this particular piece has a spirit line. The line is woven to allow the weaver’s spirit to not get trapped in the piece. There is a closeup of the corner as well as the center so you can see the weave.
