This Native American-made porcupine roach is made with porcupine guard hair which is hand-tied together and accented with hand-tied dyed white-tail deer hair. These are not easy to come by and are worn by men as headpieces during ceremonial dances. In contemporary society, they would mostly be seen at powwows.
