Native American Made Pipestone Plains Style Pipe with Silver Inlay
This fully-functional peace pipe with pipestone silver trimmed bowl was handcrafted by Santee Sioux Indian Pete Musil (Heyoka). Pete made pipes for over 45 years. He like to fish, gamble, tell stories, fix cars…and he played guitar for the Gordon Bird Band. The pipestone comes from Pipestone, Minnesota. The bowl is 3.5 in. long and 2.25 in. tall. The top of the bowl is almost 1 in. dia. and the opening is approx .375 inches in diameter. The pipe has a wooden stem that is trimmed with leather and beads.
