Native American-Made Heheya Mana Dancer Katsina Doll

Heheya Katsin Mana is called the Whistler Kachina. Like the Kokopelli Mana she attempts to attract the young boys. She arrives with others on their food-collecting trips. When food is offered that is inferior or is not offered at all, she whistles and attempts to rope the boys or men and drag them away. This is a wonderful piece that is created in a style that is unusual today. Very few of the artists make the Native American dolls this way. The action is wonderful and the carving, painting, and details are very accurate.

Dimensions: 17 inches tall
