Native American-Made Ceremonial Spirit Totem Etched Gourd Rattles
This rattle is typical of those used during ceremonies. These gourd rattles have a variety of laser-etched animal totems and symbols. Each of these is an important symbol for Native American Indians. The long handle is wrapped in leather, and then fabulously trimmed with glass beads. The rattle is usually carried in the right hand of the dancer during ceremonies. This artifact was handcrafted in the southwestern United States by a member of the Creek Nation and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Leather, fur, beads, and etching will vary.
