Pipes

At Gray Wolf Trading Post, we proudly offer a diverse collection of Native American pipes, meticulously crafted by skilled artists representing various tribes. Each piece is adorned with natural materials, creating distinctive works of art and craftsmanship.

Our selection includes social and ceremonial pipes, featuring antler, brass, totem, and pipestone varieties, all fully functional for everyday use.

Ceremonial pipes hold deep significance in Native American traditions, used by tribal chiefs and medicine men to honor past and future spirits, seeking blessings of peace for the universe. Traditionally made of wood, wrapped in rawhide or buckskin with decorative fringe, these sacred pipes often incorporate deer or elk horn for the bowl and mouthpiece, sometimes accompanied by a medicine bag or wheel.

While traditional three-piece peace pipes are reserved for ceremonial purposes and not for sale, our ceremonial pipes, crafted by Navajo, Santee Sioux, and Apache artisans, are intended for functional use. ^
